Can you trust them?

Can you trust them?

Transparency with sincere truth is the most effective means of strength as no one can shame you or cast any fear on you when you have nothing to hide.

But on occasion, we’re compelled to ask the question–can we trust them?–when we’re imparting something dearly precious to another. This valuable thing could be an emotion, thought, or an actual object.

Human beings in general can be inconsistent. This is not a condemnation nor a celebration of our nature; merely a fact revealed in the massive variety of guidance available to us and similarly, the immense diversity of distractions permitted for our pleasure.

On some occasions, silence and careful discernment is necessary to decipher whether a person is ‘confidant material’–even if they’ve been a friend for years.
