When the holiday came to an end and we departed from one another, I was upset, but her jovial disposition told me she really didn’t care at all. I was astonished when she wanted to continue an overseas romance online.

I was an Insurance Underwriter—a seemingly secure job—and the redundancy announcement came as a surprise to the entire team of seventy. But online companionship with Arianna revived my hope in life.
She invited me to her home in Florida for a follow-up vacation.
