It appears like London life has returned to normal out there, yet it’s still not what it was or will ever be. It’s going to be a strange few months.
Imagine if innovation and creation were conceived out of a pure desire to “love one’s neighbour” and care for the planet
As someone who suffered severe struggles with sleep, I’ve been so grateful that my body has been returned to a standard where I can distinctly feel the luxury of eight hours rest without interruption.
Gratitude is an underestimated value. Sadly, where it’s learned most is through loss.
Seems like a contradiction. ‘Glad’ and ‘Surrender.’ When is someone glad to surrender? One core pool of thought produces glad surrender: Admission of being absolutely, unequivocally wrong. No ‘buts…’ or excuses – just ‘sorry’ and ‘the want to change…’
Everything we see and touch is perishable; to a mind that thinks of the long-term or the greater picture, such perishable goods aren’t worthy of investment.
Continuing The Walk, which has led me to some extremely unlikely choices and necessary trials, the recent revisiting of my childhood has opened up some powerful places in my mind.
