The more I learn and experience the profound cores of right and wrong, good and bad, virtue and evil, morality and immorality, the more I see it’s rooted in the distinct choice between rationalised self-preservation OR Faith-inspired selflessness.
When hardship arises, the real face of a person is revealed. No lies. No half truths. No facade. Shattered masks. And removed pretence.
Sincere, authentic gratitude emerges when we recognise what we don’t deserve.
…it potentially means that any individual can decide what the truth is by their own oscillating experiences, fluctuating feelings, and mutating beliefs.
To contemplate and accept what we deserve as human beings and the dark deeds we’ve committed against Christ, is a significant part of being able to express the joyful, peaceful, sacrificial life of gratitude for His grace, love, Truth, and mercy…
