Day 45 – Dreams
…I just woke from a dream of seeing a relative I’ve not spoken to for a very long time.
The dream was able to replicate his mannerisms and speech pattern in response to a question I’ve never asked him in incredible ways.
It’s amazing how we know so much about space, yet something so intimate as our mind’s potential still alludes us…
At its core, presumption in relationship or communication is created out of a learned survival motion. It grants us the illusion of protection, jumping way ahead so the hindsight lesson isn’t required if things do go wrong…
I’ve said it before, so many times now, but I did not expect life to get harder…
To build a solution through public acknowledgement of the mistake and fresh collaboration on the problem, allows for long-term healing.
The power of selfless contribution and clear gratitude, feeds life’s deepest joy!
I recall the first time I absorbed the powerful life lesson that it’s so much better to do your best in all endeavours intentionally, purposefully without a particular predicted outcome, than to work diligently with a specific expectation.
A philosophy I’ve come across for a conflict-free life and mass popularity is ‘wearing the mantle of Geneva;’ intentionally pursuing neutrality within all human interaction…
