Trust is the ultimate, unspoken communication, inspiring our actions and behaviour.
Ultimate clarity is like being the observer of a connect-four game. On the outside of the game, you can see all the potential moves. BUT, becoming a player, self-involvement obscures the vision, clouding the perception and blinding the individual from what is plain to see. Oops…connect-four. You lose. How did it happen? How did I miss that?
The other day, a man asked me if I could ‘turn the other cheek’ if I was physically assaulted. I answered truthfully. In history, the “bridging” power of ‘turning the other cheek’ is second to none.
As a child, one could trust a book or newspaper. It was revered as the authority on whatever subject it presented because we didn’t know any better.
