Control…
It’s one of the greatest deceptions on the human mind…
We love it because when we supposedly have it, it promises to grant us security, worth, and significance…
But any wise person would tell us, the only control one could ever have would be temporary and in that moment, there would be the expensive cost of anxiety…
The more control, the more anxiety…
Twice in my life, I’ve been tricked into thinking control was falling into my grasp. It felt good, but the crafty serpent-motion of anxiety slithered in too…
I pray that there won’t be a third…
Control belongs to one being and one alone…
