Within Jewish tradition and in social standing, this would be one of the lowest places a person could be born. On top of that, his adoptive father Joseph’s lineage was full of broken, unlovable, wicked people; it’s a sign that Jesus is for everybody, regardless of background or how low, broken, or evil you might appear…
