Saying “yes” to a discomforting opportunity is where we see spiritual, psychological, and sometimes physical growth.
To build a solution out of reaction to something that is broken will always grant a temporary fix or worse, suppress the issue…It’s no good trying to grow something from seeds that are already dead. In many areas of western civilisation’s infrastructure, we have done exactly this.
…I have a recurring dream where I’m walking into an exam hall and I haven’t revised at all…
Like forcing a rectangle in a circular-shaped hole, or pouring water into a bucket with holes, I’ve come to understand addiction…
Yesterday morning, I had a vivid dream that was so clear seconds before my alarm went off…
This is not the first time this has happened.
Like a grumbling, pensioner with a thick, flapping jowl, I can say without any of the traditional old-person embellishment needed that, “I remember what it was like when Skittles cost 27p.”
I’ve said it before, so many times now, but I did not expect life to get harder…
