The other day, a man asked me if I could ‘turn the other cheek’ if I was physically assaulted. I answered truthfully. In history, the “bridging” power of ‘turning the other cheek’ is second to none.
To build a solution through public acknowledgement of the mistake and fresh collaboration on the problem, allows for long-term healing.
Perseverance and endurance are sometimes used interchangeably; as though they were synonyms.
This simple chart reveals the attitudes common to a person who admits they are broken VS an individual who wishes to reflect invulnerability. Every time I read this table, I find it difficult to refute any of the bold and clear statements it makes.
One of the most important affirmations is to let others know they’re not alone.
