While they all have their phenomenal and thoroughly enjoyable merits, not a single ‘ology’ can account for the deeper questions or longings of the human condition.
A beautiful ‘coincidence’ should never be ignored or relegated to the term ‘just a coincidence.’ Each occasion may be an opportunity to a calling for hope in something higher.
“When they see your pure and reverent demeanour. Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as braided hair or gold jewellery or fine clothes…”
With every single person I’ve ever met, there is some situation, inconvenience, pain, or worse that they will passionately reveal as objectively wrong, YET to this day, there is still a debate over whether objective morality really exists…
I recall the first time I absorbed the powerful life lesson that it’s so much better to do your best in all endeavours intentionally, purposefully without a particular predicted outcome, than to work diligently with a specific expectation.
Perseverance and endurance are sometimes used interchangeably; as though they were synonyms.
I wrote this poem in 2017. It was a reflection of what I’d learnt following an intensive nine-month group programme of the deepest level of introspection.
