Day 313 – On-demand loners…
In ‘on-demand’ culture, all desires are fulfilled at the click or swipe of a button. Fulfilled desires move from hope to expectancy to certainty; this certainty becomes entitlement. Entitlement breeds uber-self-indulgence, and the concept of ‘community’ remains an idea, impossible to forge out of loners fixated on their next medication.
Fear lies with a negative that hasn’t happened. Faith hopes in the positive founded on universal Truth.
