Day 405 – Really letting go…

Day 405 – Really letting go…

Psychologists generally define forgiveness as a conscious, deliberate decision to release feelings of resentment or vengeance toward a person or group who has harmed us, regardless of whether they actually deserve our forgiveness. Forgiveness does not mean forgetting, nor does it mean condoning or excusing offenses. A person who has totally embraced forgiveness and its resulting by-product peace, will have relinquished their own perspective on justice, balance, and vengeance. They will not feel angry when remembering hurtful memories. On this note, The Paradise Seduction is a tough book to write. I have a way to go before I experience this kind of peace.
