Day 179 – Lowliness.
It’s quite possible to have never heard this word before.
Why?
Because of its meaning.
“1 : humble in manner or spirit : free from self-assertive pride. 2 : not lofty or sublime : prosaic. 3 : ranking low in some hierarchy. 4 : of or relating to a low social or economic rank.”
This is pretty much the COMPLETE OPPOSITE of messages and instruction that the world feeds us.
The great thing about the outward attribute of lowliness from a person’s demeanour?
Peace of mind, joy and gratitude in the small things, and a considerably lot less people desiring your downfall.
