Judgement is not the same as accusation or condemnation – Video 10
Please read Newsletter 10 on my blog for the Biblical references and fullness of this illumination about ‘judgement within the church.’

The following are some basic points to think about:
Sound judgement—based on God’s Word—is not accusation, because accusation is built on deception.
Sound judgement is also not the same as condemnation.
Condemnation has a finality to it that none of us are capable of knowing or wielding because none of us are perfect or omniscient.
Judgement is a device within the church to correct and encourage a fellow believer in following the Truth.
Ideally, the way a judgement from one Christian disciple to another should transpire = the heart receiving judgement is humble and contrite, therefore receiving the judgement as a correction, feeling a conviction to change and grow.
If the judgement is sound but the heart receiving it is still abiding what is right by the individual’s standards, they may receive the judgement with guilt, which could have damaging effects later on.
There are three basic questions one might consider when utilising judgement:
Is the judgement sound; in other words, is the statement based on God’s Truth?
Is it the right time for that person to receive the correction? There is such a thing as God’s perfect timing and having grace for those of a weaker faith (Romans 14)…
Is the recipient in a place of submission to God to be teachable?
