We are bombarded with opportunities to be prideful in this day and age.
Whether it be in the workplace or out on the social scene, pride can infect us through our own past wounds and need to prove ourselves; or the contagious, prideful actions of others that give rise to competition.
Resist pride; don’t allow yourself to be afflicted by its promise of instant gratification.
Psalm 36:11
