Being charitable when no one is able to congratulate or measure such a gesture is a strong sign of goodness.
True kindness doesn’t expect any reward…not even a warm, fuzzy feeling. It’s all about the interests of others, even at the expense of our own.
Only by going through testing times of impatience and admitting our folly within, can we learn the skill of patience.
When one has been shaken repeatedly by the hard knocks of life, there is a powerful and wise mastery that comes with being still.
My personal opinion is to abandon the entire meal and throw it away so no one else can eat it, but please watch the video and let me know what you think.
It is easy to be the happy one in the room, ‘the positive guy’; the one who everyone says “they’re always so joyful.”
The only way we can really know for certain if we love someone is NOT through good times, but through a harsh testing.
Adverse circumstances beyond our control are interesting in that we are forced to be patient, because we can’t do anything.
One of the most difficult balances to strike is to speak truth to someone in love and/or be loving with the truth.
