“So, where are we and what’s the challenge?” said Jacob, resting back in his chair.

“Well,” I replied, looking at Doloris who kept her head down. “Just a few things really. I have a ‘challenge’ with this,” I said, pointing toward the clause about paying housing allowance. “ I already have a place to stay so in fact, I don’t require the apartment at all since I don’t wish to be paying housing allowance or utility bills.” 

“Oh no, you have to use the apartment. That’s your office and everything is set up there. But we can work it out. You don’t have to pay housing allowance for three months, but after that, we will discuss a mutually beneficial arrangement.”

“Okay, that sounds alright. The other thing. How will you be able to get me a part-time Work Permit so fast? I’ve been told it can take weeks or months. And won’t it be illegal for me to work two full-time jobs?”
