…when a person takes pleasure in inflicting unwanted, unexpected pain on others. There is universal agreement on this. The problem is the discrepancy over what is considered painful between one person and another…subjectivity morality: the greatest confusion in existence.
Solitary happiness is likely not happiness at all. Happiness has a foundational quality of sharing.
Often translated as self-control, there’s nothing egotistical, ‘self’ oriented, or of one’s own strength when contemplating Spiritual temperance.
I’ve been thinking about ‘true freedom’ recently and what allows someone to truly think and feel free.
Life’s not easy…but sometimes, it’s more simple than we realise.
…two days ago, I ran into a family who inspired great empathy in me.
