I wrote this poem in 2017. It was a reflection of what I’d learnt following an intensive nine-month group programme of the deepest level of introspection.
This simple chart reveals the attitudes common to a person who admits they are broken VS an individual who wishes to reflect invulnerability. Every time I read this table, I find it difficult to refute any of the bold and clear statements it makes.
Reflecting on the last 10 years, I made two immense migrations.
The first migration in 2010 was a physical one going from living in the over-populated, urban jungle of London to the aesthetically-pleasing Caribbean tropics.
